Failed to Stop, Becomes Drug Arrest

EUREKA – On Wednesday June 7 at 4:00 pm the 2018 Ford Fusion failed to stop. A EPD officer noticed the infraction at Del Norte and A Streets.

As the officer tried to stop the Fusion, “the vehicle was slow to yield.”  However, soon pulled to the curb.

The passenger in the front seat tried to get out and the officer ordered them back inside. Unaware of what he faced, the officer “kept them at gunpoint” until assistance arrived.

Still, “The front passenger continued to attempt to exit the vehicle.”  A search of the vehicle produced a pound of meth.

The EPD booked 34-year-old Johnny Edward Victor Randall and 28-year-old Jessica Darlene Grzymski. Their charge is transportation f a controlled substance.

18-year-old Dylan Brett Barber, also int he vehicle, had an active warrant out.
