JURUPA VALLEY – A routine traffic stop in Jurupa Valley resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old Jurupa Valley resident. As a result, the suspect’s multiple charges include possession of a loaded weapon.

The arrest occurred on May 30, conducted by the Riverside County Region 7 Regional Gang Task Force. It started as a routine traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on the 10000 block of Jurupa Road in Jurupa Valley.

Deputies determined after the stop that Aguilar rode a stolen motorcycle as reported out of San Bernardino County in March.

RCS deputies arrested Jonathan Ramirez Aguilar, 26, on a number of charges, including possession of a loaded handgun, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, vehicle theft, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Aguilar was also under the influence of a controlled substance while armed.
