CLAREMONT – Police Commissioner Edgar Reece has announced the capture of two burglary suspects, believed to be linked to multiple residential burglaries in three counties.

The unnamed duo’s burglary of a Claremont home in January provided an immediate launch of surveillance footage throughout social and local media.

Police Commissioner Reece added, “Over the last two weeks, one suspect was identified via facial recognition using the surveillance photos resulting in a match to a booking photo from a recent arrest in Riverside County. The second suspect was identified following an arrest by LAPD, after officers found the Claremont Police’s ‘Wanted’ flyer in the suspect’s possession.”

With that guaranteed spot at the front of the booking line for the evening of April 25th, officials announced that the suspects are in custody.

Commissioner Reece concluded, “Both suspects are being investigated for residential burglaries in numerous cities, including La Verne, Pomona, and Corona.” The counties involved at present include Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties.

Anyone with information related to this investigation is urged to call their local law enforcement agency. “If you see something, say something.”
