Pizza Delivery Robbery Attempt and Attack, Suspect Sought

GRAND TERRACE – When a pizza delivery took a wrong turn, an unidentified man approached him and demanded, “Give me what you’ve got!”

San Bernardino County Sheriffs’ Department seeks a Hispanic male in his late 20’s, approximately 5’07” weighing 160 pounds with a light complexion, wearing a white t-shirt, khaki shorts, with short hair and a mustache who approached the driver at the Heights Apartment Complex, 22491 Deberry Street, on April 6th at 2:45 PM.

The driver was impeded by the insistent suspect while returning to his vehicle. As the driver walked past the suspect and refused to turn over his earnings, the suspect punched him in the face and head with a closed fist.

SBSD Deputies announced yesterday evening, “During the confrontation the suspect reached into the victim’s apron pocket multiple times but was unable to take any money or property from the victim. The victim entered his vehicle and drove off. The victim suffered superficial cuts to his right hand and he complained of a headache.”
