TURLOCK – Early on Saturday morning a 21-year-old female was carjacked in the 200 block of W. Main Street and later sexually assaulted by an unknown man. The victim escaped and then saw the suspect get into another car.
Deputies with the MCSD then saw the car with the suspect in it and stopped it. The driver of that car did not know the suspect and was not involved in his crime.
34-year-old Rene Trujillo was arrested and charged with carjacking, kidnapping, sexual penetration and battery causing injury. His bail was set at $1 million.
