BAKERSFIELD — An undercover sting operation conducted on February 26th resulted in the closure of three massage facilities in Kern county.

At Sunflower Massage (700 Airport Drive), 54-year-old Chunping Li was cited for  exposing and touching genital parts.

At Sweet Asian Massage (314 Norris Road), 51-year-old  Zhaomei Liang was cited for solicitation of prostitution.

At New Oriental Massage (1928 North Chester Avenue), 55-year-old Bao Hong Dong was also cited for solicitation of prostitution.

The Kern County Department of Public Health Services says, “This is the second sting operation under a new County Ordinance whereby Public Health regulates massage establishments to ensure they maintain a safe and sanitary environment as well as establish reasonable standards to reduce the opportunity for acts of prostitution and human trafficking to occur.”
