Confiscated from Reyes
SAN BERNARDINO – On Monday night deputies from the SBSD encountered an illegally parked car near Palm Avenue and Honey Hill Drive with two occupants inside.
29-year-old Las Vegas resident Jonathan Reyes ran from the vehicle. His female passenger stayed behind.
K-9 Dare
At first deputies were unsuccessful as they searched the area. Reyes texted 22-year-old Colton resident Martin Estrada saying that the police were chasing him and to come and get him.
Estrada obeyed and was spotted by deputies and detained. K-9 deputy Dare joined the search and successfully trailed Reyes for 1.5 miles until he was also detained.
Reyes faces weapons charges and also had a warrant on hum from Las Vegas. He has no bail posted.
Estrada was charged with being an accessory with his bail set at $25,000.
