Las Vegas Shooter’s Brother Arrested for Child Pornography

Bruce Douglas Paddock

NORTH HOLLYWOOD – On Wednesday 59-year-old Bruce Douglas Paddock was arrested for possession of child pornography.

Paddock was in a business in the 9000 block of San Fernando Road in Sun Valley and, subsequent to his “eviction” from the business where he had been “squatting”,  authorities began an investigation after the suspect apparently left evidence behind.

At first Paddock could not be located, being listed as a transient.  He was finally located in the 5300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and arrested.

The charges include possession of over 600 images of child pornography and 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Paddock’s bail has been set at $60,000.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Juvenile Division ICAC, Officer in Charge, Lieutenant Andrea Grossman or Police Officer III Anthoney Keller at (562) 624-4027.

Paddock’s previous run-ins with the law include arrests for petty theft on October 20, 2014, possession of drug paraphernalia on November 11, 2014 and threats of violence on March 26, 2015.

Bruce’s brother, Stephen, was the mass shooter on October 1st in Las Vegas.
