COSTA MESA — During the night last Saturday, two separate DUI incidents occurred in Costa Mesa involving damage and/or injuries.
Around midnight 22-year-old Kyle Bosson, driving east on Baker Street, drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with another vehicle, injuring its two occupants. Bosson was arrested and charged with DUI.
Nearly two hours later, 31-year-old Jeremy Sharrock collided with a traffic signal pole at 17th Street and Newport Avenue.
However, he continued driving as a concerned citizen followed him until CMPD officers responded.
Sharrock was also arrested for DUI. CMPD reports that the pole was undamaged but Sharrock’s truck did indeed suffer damage, and thanks its sober citizens for being vigilant and involved.
