Road rage leads to stabbing in Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA — On August 17th just after 5 PM, officers arrived on the 1700 block of Fulton Road to investigate a road rage incident involving two vehicles — a white BMW and a green Toyota pickup.

The officers were able to determine that the two vehicles had been driving in the northwest area of Santa Rosa when a point of contention arose over one party’s driving.

The conflict eventually saw them both stopping and getting out of their cars to front each other face to face, at which point things got physical and the pickup driver was stabbed with an “unknown weapon.”

34-year-old Fernando Delgado was promptly arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

The driver of the pickup was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. The investigation remains ongoing.
