Assault Suspect Arrested in Lincoln

LINCOLN — There’s been something of a recent pattern in Lincoln; police have dealt with several reports over the past few months of rocks being thrown at cars on Lincoln Boulevard.

On March 1st, officers met with 45-year-old Conrad Maldonado in regards to an assault which had just occurred. As the officer approached, Maldonado picked up a rock and threw it at a stopped vehicle. The rock struck and caused about $1,000 in damage.

Maldonado was arrested for vandalism and throwing an object at a vehicle. He was also positively identified as the suspect in the assault officers were investigating, which will be considered by the District Attorney’s Office when charges are filed.
