Humboldt County Man Arrested for Murder

On November 25th at approximately 3 AM, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on lower Cal Pac Road in the Hoopa Valley after reports of a disturbance.

Deputies and medical personnel discovered a female victim in the home with multiple stab wounds. Unfortunately, she passed away at the scene.

Subsequent investigation identified Lorence Emmanuel Bailey as a person of interest. He was eventually located and arrested for murder, then booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000,000.

The incident his being investigated by detectives with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
