Santa Cruz Vandalism Suspect Caught on Film

SANTA CRUZ — Police have arrested 20-year-old transient Anthony Isaac Starr the morning after he was caught on film breaking into a business on Front Street Sunday night, crediting two citizens for thinking quickly and catching him in the act.

That night, police responded to reports of a vandal breaking a hole through the glass front door of a business from the inside. In the video below, the suspect is shown crawling through the hole before landing on the sidewalk and taking off down the street.

Starr has been arrested for felony vandalism with bail set at $5000.
