CHP Arrests DUI Rollover Driver

CHP officers arrested a woman for allegedly driving under the influence last Tuesday.

According to a press release, CHP officers were dispatched after they received a call regarding a vehicle roll-over on Tuesday morning around 6:14 a.m.

According to witnesses, a 1998 GMC Jimmy, was headed northbound on Hwy 101 near Morro Road in Atascader. The vehicle rolled over and landed on its wheels.

The driver was identified as Nicole Missamore, 33, of Atascadero.

Missamore said she was uninjured and left before CHP officers arrived at the scene. Once CHP arrived on the scene they began searching the area for the vehicle.

CHP officers found the driver and the vehicle parked behind a dumpster at 8360 El Camino Real in the Food4Less parking lot.

The investigating officer observed indications of possible impairment, so he conducted a DUI investigation.
Investigators determined Missamore was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while operating the vehicle, and she was then arrested for DUI

Missamore was transported to Twin Cities Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

Missamore was transported and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail where she was charged with a DUI, a DUI with a BAC of .08-percent or higher, and failure to provide proof of insurance after being involved in a traffic collision.
