FALLBROOK – The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that took place during a wedding at the Pala Mesa Resort near Fallbrook.

On Sunday, June 7, a person broke into the Bridal Suite at Pala Mesa Resort Hotel while the couple were engaged in a wedding ceremony at the resort. The newlyweds were not aware that a burglary had taken place in their room until the next day when the bride discovered her wallet was missing. When the victim contacted her bank, she was told multiple charges had been made to her credit and debit cards during the night of her wedding. The cards were reportedly used at the Target store in Escondido.
