Sac Sheriff Seeking Help ID-ing Child Abduction Suspect

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a child abduction suspect, according to an official press release.

According to Sac Sheriff, on Sunday, August 31 at approximately 3 am, an unknown white male adult reportedly entered a residence in the 5000 block of Adelaide Way in Carmichael through an unlocked door, and removed a child under the age of 10 from the residence against her will. The child was reportedly taken to a wooded area near the residence and released without further incident. The child was reportedly able to return to the home without serious injury.

Sac Sheriff describes the suspect as a white male adult in his late teens or early 20s with short brown hair combed back and dark brown eyes. He is reportedly 5’9″ to 6′ tall and weights between 120 to 160 pounds. He was reportedly clean shaven with “healing” acne marks and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
