Brothers Arrested in Shoplifting Case

Two Sacramento brothers were recently arrested after being caught shoplifting at the Roseville Ace Hardware store, according to a weekly crime report issued by Roseville Police Department.

Yaroslav Galay, 20, of Sacramento was reportedly arrested on suspicion of robbery, battery, and other related charges. His brother, Bogdan Galay, 21, also of Sacramento, was reportedly arrested last week on suspicion of burglary, possession of methamphetamine and other related charges.

According to Roseville PD, on Friday, August 1 just before 8 pm, an employee of the Ace Hardware on the 100 block of Harding Boulevard attempted to stop two men he suspected of shoplifting. One of the suspects reportedly shoved the employee, and both suspects fled on foot. Officers were reportedly able to locate the two suspects in the surrounding area and arrested them.
