Suspects in Home Invasion Robbery Arrested

CANYON LAKE-  Following a home invasion and auto theft, investigators located and arrested four suspects in the crime.

The Canyon Lake Police Department responded to a call reporting a home invasion robbery on Wednesday May 7 at 12:29 p.m. at the 30000 block of Channel Way Drive. Upon arrival, the officers were told that a white adult female knocked on the door of the residence and asked for assistance. The victim reported that once the door was open, two white male assailants forced their way into their residence.

The victim was reportedly tied up with packing tape at which point the robbers ransacked the home. The suspects gathered up the victim’s valuables and stole his 2012 white Kia Sol. The victim ultimately freed himself and reported the crime to the Canyon Lake Police Department turned the investigation over to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department Perris station Burglary Suppression Team.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was able to locate the victim’s stolen vehicle near Lakewood California on May 10, at which point they pursued the vehicle. Following a short chase, deputies arrest Allen Hackley, 47 or Riverside County.  The suspect was then transported to the Perris Police Station and booked into Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of home invasion robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle.

As the investigation continued, on May 11th Perris Station investigators were able to follow a lead to a residence in the 35000 block of Momat Avenue in Wildomar, where they hoped to find additional evidence and suspects. After getting a search warrant, deputies searched the residence where they discovered stolen property and three more of the alleged robbers. Valerie Cook, 34 of Wildomar, Jeffrey Fleming 44, of Santa Ana, and Kimberley Holguin, 40 of Bellflower were all taken into custody.
