A 54-year-old registered sex offender has been arrested in the stabbing death of a 21-year-old man.

Oscar Bridges is accused of killing Robert Brewer in a Southern California motel room this January. Also known as “Rick”, was sought out in Hollywood and West Hollywood motels he had been seen in, and was known to have ties in Arizona. Last Tuesday, a large scale search involving over 50 officers was conducted in the area near the Greek Theater in Hollywood Hills, but he was not found. Further information leading them to San Francisco resulted in contacts with the SF Police Department, including tips on where he might show up. The police there located him on Saturday at 12:45 pm.
