Two Drivers Arrested for Racing, Speeds Reach Over 100 MPH

Two men were arrested early Sunday morning for racing on northbound Highway 101 and Highway 37 at speeds that reached more than 100 miles an hour.

The drivers, ages 18 and 20, were spotted near San Pedro Road around 2:30am. California Highway Patrol officers followed them, but did not turn on their sirens. Instead officers alerted other units to be on a lookout for the two vehicles as they headed into Marin County.
