The Peacock Murder

SAN JOSE – San Jose resident, 25 year old Steven Craig Bowie Jr., was arrested for the fatal shooting of an unidentified victim at the Peacock Lounge at 102 East Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale.

On June 9 at 1:05 a.m., Sunnyvale Public Safety units responded to a 911 call from the Peacock lounge. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim in the front parking lot. Though medical care was immediately provided, the victim was declared dead the scene. Sunnyvale is currently releasing no further information on the victim.

Meanwhile, a local Sunnyvale hospital  informed the police that they were treating a patient who was also shot at the Peacock Lounge. The hospitalized victim was treated and released.

On June 11, detectives from the Sunnyvale Public Safety unit arrested Bowie at his home in San Jose.  He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
