Attempted Murder Assailant captured by Good Samaritans

ANTIOCH – On Monday, May 28th at approximately 8a.m., Antioch officers were dispatched to the Save Mart grocery store  on 3190 Contra Loma Blvd.  A 50-year-old  Antioch resident was discovered enduring alleged stab wounds.  The assailant, 35-year-old Antioch resident Jeffrey Crimson, was caught several minutes away by several civilians and then taken into police custody.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in “stable condition” according to an official press release.  Anyone with information regarding the attempted homicide should contact the Media Access Telephone Line at (925) 779-6874, or the Antioch Police Department at (925)778-2411.
