Suspected Prowlers Arrested in Lemon Grove

A man and a woman were taken into custody Sunday by deputies investigating the report of a prowler in a Lemon Grove neighborhood.

The call about a prowler in the 7000 block of Lonny Lane came in about 1:20 p.m., according to a San Diego County sheriff’s lieutenant.

According to a Patch reader, about six police cruisers blocked Lonny Lane and two deputies contacted someone living on that block.

They then walked down to a resident’s home — one of the deputies had drawn his pistol — and there was yelling heard, the reader told Patch in an email.
