Man Shoots Wife and is on the Run

GROVER BEACH – A man is on the run after he allegedly shot his estranged wife.

According to GRPD, officers responded on Saturday about 9 p.m. to the 800 block of Mentone Avenue for a report of a shooting.

When the police arrived it was determined that William Roger Forgey, 46, of Roseville had shot his estranged wife causing serious injuries.

Police say she was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment.

Forgey fled from the scene and was last seen running eastbound on the 800 block of Mentone Avenue.

Police say while running away from the scene Forgey shot at a neighbor who was not hit or injured.

Forgey is believed to be driving, a silver 2004 Toyota 4-Runner with CA license plate 5DVW739. Forgey has ties to the Sacramento area and should be considered armed and dangerous.
