Elderly Man Victim of Road Rage Beating

ROCKLIN – On Saturday morning a Rocklin man beat an elderly resident while the victim was in his garage.  The beating was preceded by a road rage incident after which the assailant followed the victim to his house and proceeded to beat him after he exited his car.

Zubin Bogandoff

A neighbor attempted to intervene and was also assaulted by Zubin Bogandoff, 31, of Rocklin.  In addition, Bogandoff attempted to run over another witness as he fled the scene in his vehicle.

The phone calls and descriptions provided by numerous witnesses led to Bogandoff’s swift arrest.  He was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm), burglary, felony elder abuse with injury and battery.

The unidentified victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
