Fight Call Results in Chop Shop Discovery, Four Arrests

Grover Beach police have arrested four individuals after officers responded to a call regarding a fight.

According to GBPD, officers responded to 1059 Baden Avenue for a report of five subjects fighting on Saturday about 6 p.m.

Upon their arrival, police noticed several subjects walking away from the residence.

Police say the subjects were contacted and questioned about the fight.

One of the subjects, Randy Wessman, 55, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a second subject Charles Christen, 32, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for drug charges.

According to GBPD, further investigation at the residence resulted in the recovery of two stolen vehicles, which were located to the rear of the home.

One of the residents at the home, Brian Heiberger, 28, was arrested for being in possession of stolen property, vehicle theft and maintaining a “chop shop.”

Police also say another subject, Victor Wright, 50, was arrested on another outstanding warrant.

All four subjects were transported and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
