Stockton Police arrest man suspected of attempted vehicle theft

“This morning, at 7:27 am, officers responded to the 3900 block of West Lane on a report of a suspect attempting to steal a vehicle and located the suspect inside the vehicle. The suspect ignored the officers’ commands and resisted when they tried to remove him from the vehicle. A taser was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Arrested was Jason Gaul, 33, for vehicle tampering and resisting arrest.”
