A Los Banos man has been arrested on suspicion of vandalism after gang-affiliated graffiti was reportedly found a brick wall at Vineyard and North Santa Ana Streets.

Just before 11:30 AM on Friday, December 6, patrol officers noticed a male subject standing near a brick wall who quickly fled upon seeing a marked police unit, then got into a nearby vehicle and left.

When they conducted an investigative stop at Rhona Court and discovered the driver and individual in question, identified as 18-year-old Jonathan Dorado, had applied gang graffiti on the wall where they’d seen him.

A search of his vehicle turned up blue spray paint and further indicators of gang membership.

Dorado was taken into custody on suspicion of vandalism and participation in a criminal street gang.
