The Corning Police Department sent out the following news alert about a drug bust via their Facebook page.
“Early this morning Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Mercedes Benz in the area of the truck stops.
Crystal Sainz, age 23 of Redding and Gerald Strong, age 27 of Redding were contacted and a search was conducted.
Officers located cocaine, crack, heroin, prescription narcotics, paraphernalia, scales and packaging material.
They were arrested and booked into Tehama County Jail on numerous charges and their Mercedes was towed.”
