LEMOORE — Police have arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following a reported shooting on Atwell Court on Friday.

At around 3:30 PM, officers arrived on the 16000 block of Atwell and discovered four bullet holes in an exterior garage, which had reportedly been occupied by two residents at the time of the shooting.

Witnesses claimed they’d seen Reynaldo Thomas in the area, shooting a handgun in the air while yelling at people inside the residence. He eventually fired four rounds in the direction of another residence, striking the side of the garage.

Detectives served a search warrant at Reynaldo’s home and found two handguns, several types of ammo, and several spent shell casings.

Reynaldo was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and several other firearm-related charges, with bail set at $780,000.

Police say no one was injured in the shooting.
