CHULA VISTA – On Thursday April 11th, The Coxitan Mexican restaurant was the scene of an assault and robbery of a 16-year-old male.

Six suspects – two adults and four juveniles –  were caught on video in the attack and then the video was shared on social media. This in turn helped to identify the suspects.

The victim, his family, and the Coxitan staff and officials with the San Diego Unified School District all worked together with the Chula Vista Police Department to identify the attackers.

The four juveniles, all students at Morse High School, have been suspended. They were then arrested and taken to juvenile hall.

The 2 adult suspects, 18-year-old Kent Pasunting and 19-year-old Aldrin Uy  , are both Mark Twain High School students. Both were arrested on April 16th and taken to the San Diego County Central Detention Facility.

The altercation stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the victim and his attackers than fanned into flame on social media. The victim ended up with a fractured left wrist.
