Search Warrant Yields Three Pounds of Meth

OILDALE – The KCSO Gang Unit, with a search warrant, uncovered three pounds of meth.  It happened on June 9 at 10:00 pm on the 100 block of Beardsley Avenue.

Deputies form the Electronic Monitoring Program assisted in the arrest, as did a K-9 team.

Along with 3 pounds of meth, investigators secured “evidence of sales” and $2500 in currency.

37-year-old Antonio Valdez and 34-year-old Kimberly Long found themselves under arrest. Their charges are –

  • keeping a place to sell controlled substances;
  • possession of controlled substances for sale;
  • conspiracy;
  • resisting arrest;
  • participation in a criminal street gang.

While Valdez’ bail is $62,500, Long’s bail is $57,000.
