Humboldt County Sheriff seeks primary suspect in murder of Robert Holtsclaw

HUMBOLDT COUNTY // The Sheriff’s Office is continuing their search for the primary suspect in the murder of 58-year-old Robert Holtsclaw, as detailed in a press release issued today.

Holtsclaw was killed in a shooting in Alderpoint on September 23, 2017. His suspected murderer, 27-year-old Zachary Cordell Harrison, has been at large ever since.  Harrison reportedly shot Holtsclaw while he was stopped at a gate, according the witness who phoned for medical assistance after hearing the gunshot.

According to the Lost Coast Post, Harrison was last scene driving a black Ford F250 with Oregon plates.
