The Rancho San Diego Target on Jamacha Road

RANCHO SAN DIEGO – Three people were arrested on Tuesday, October 27 in the Rancho San Diego area in connection with a robbery at a Target store.

San Diego County sheriffs arrested Kari Harris, 39, Linda Hamilton, 47, and Christina Zbydniewski, 24, on charges of robbery and conspiracy after a short car chase. Hamilton, who was driving the vehicle that was pursued, was also charged with misdemeanor evading.

The incident began when a robbery was reported at the Target store on Jamacha Road in an unincorporated area of San Diego County, about 20 miles east of San Diego. The suspects fled the scene down Campo Road, and responding San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies pursued their vehicle, and stopped it about 2 miles away on Route 94 near Avocado Boulevard.

All three suspects were arrested without further incident. The Sheriff’s department stated that “a significant amount” of stolen property and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle. There were no reported injuries in the robbery of the Target store.

The trio have been busy this year.  Harris’ previous arrest dates include April 6, July 1, September 7 and 21, and October 14 for various charges, including drug and domestic violence offenses.  Hamilton was previously nabbed in February (domestic violence) and October (possession of controlled substances). Finally, Zbydniewski has been arrested on April 25, June 28 and October 1 of this year, all on drug possession charges.
