Man Stabs Woman Several Times, Arrested for Attempted Murder

Warren Gibbs Andreasen, a 42-year old resident of Victorville, has been arrested for attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a woman several times inside her home.

Victorville police responded to the reported stabbing at about 2:30 PM on June 8, 2021. They found the 38-year-old woman alive and lying on the floor inside her home, located in the 12300 block of Southwind Street in Victorville. Two other people were inside the home during the attack, but they were not harmed.

The woman was airlifted to a nearby trauma center, where she was reported to be alive and responsive as of June 9th.  Andreasen, also a resident of the home, was nowhere to be seen. Investigators learned that he was staying at a motel in the city of San Bernardino, where he was found and arrested without incident by the Victorville Station’s Gang Division Deputies on June 9th.

Andreasen was charged with attempted murder and booked in to the West Valley Detention Center. His bail was set at $1,000,000. He is expected to appear in Victorville Superior Court today, June 11th.
