“Last night around 9:20 p.m., a Watch C officer was providing extra patrol along the Magnolia Avenue corridor when he stopped a man drinking a beer in public near Magnolia Avenue and Skofstad Street.
After verifying his identity, the officer discovered this man is required to register as a sex offender but had failed to do so for nearly two years.
He also had outstanding arrest warrants for sexual assault, DUI, and possession of illegal drugs.
Angel Garcia, 24-years-old of Riverside, was arrested and booked into jail for his warrants where he is being held on $10,000 bail.”
