Costa Mesa Woman Arrested After Officers Spot Warrant Suspect and Narcotics in Parking Lot
COSTA MESA, CA — Officers with the Costa Mesa Police Department arrested a 35-year-old Costa Mesa woman on Saturday after discovering narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and cash inside her vehicle during a parking lot contact.
Officers on patrol located a vehicle parked at the 7-Eleven on MacArthur Boulevard that was registered to an individual with an outstanding arrest warrant. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed the driver, identified as Mallory Marie Kurth, in possession of a bong containing fentanyl and a butane torch resting on the center console.
After directing Kurth to step out of the vehicle, officers conducted a search of the automobile. The search yielded large quantities of methamphetamine, additional fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and $1,500 in currency.
Kurth was taken into custody and booked into the Orange County Jail on her outstanding warrant, along with charges related to possession of narcotics and possession of controlled substances with intent to sell.
