Redwood City Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Exposing, Touching Himself in Public

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Local police have reportedly arrested a man for allegedly exposing and touching himself in public.

According to a press release by the Redwood City Police Department, the department received a 9-1-1 call on Tuesday, Aug. 4, reporting that a man was walking along El Camino Real while exposing himself and masturbating.

Police deployed a department drone to canvas the area and reportedly located the suspect. Police officers then responded to the scene and detained him without incident.

Police reportedly identified the individual as 45-year-old Marcelo Arancibia of Redwood City.

Multiple victims, both adults and children, have been identified during the investigation, police said.

Arancibia was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony indecent exposure, felony parole violation, and felony failure to register as a sex offender.
