LINDA, CA — On the evening of July 28, 2026, at approximately 8:47 p.m., a Yuba County Sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of Erle Road due to observed vehicle code violations.

During the stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted deputies to the potential presence of controlled substances. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded four pounds of suspected methamphetamine packaged in multiple individual bundles. Additionally, deputies recovered a digital scale, suspected drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of U.S. currency inside the vehicle.

Based on the physical evidence recovered at the scene, investigators determined the narcotics were intended for commercial distribution.

Three occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Yuba County Jail on felony charges. Authorities identified the suspects as 51-year-old Kameron Clifton Hildenbrand of Oregon House, 47-year-old Kylie Till of Marysville, and 52-year-old Milo Rick Acosta Sr. of Marysville. All three individuals face charges including possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine, and conspiracy. Acosta was also booked on an additional charge of possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
