Irvine Police Arrest Two Long Beach Residents in Multi-County Lululemon Theft Investigation
IRVINE, CA — An investigation into a series of commercial thefts from retail Lululemon stores across Southern California has led to the arrest of two additional suspects by the Irvine Police Department.
The investigation follows an earlier incident in which multiple individuals entered a Lululemon location, gathered merchandise, and fled the scene in a Tesla. Members of the department’s Crime Impact Unit previously located and arrested two suspects in Carson, recovering a portion of the stolen property.
Following those arrests, Irvine officers monitoring online marketplaces located items matching the stolen merchandise listed for sale on the e-commerce platform OfferUp. Officers arranged a meeting with the sellers and detained two individuals in Irvine.
The individuals were identified as 18-year-old Alina Liarone Delacruz and 19-year-old Kanoa Kaholi, both residents of Long Beach. Both were taken into custody and booked into jail on felony grand theft charges. Investigators believe the group may be linked to multiple theft incidents resulting in the loss of over $10,000 in merchandise from various Lululemon retail locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties.
