Napa Police Arrest Suisun City Man for Murder Following Fatal Parking Lot Hit-and-Run
NAPA, CA — The Napa Police Department has arrested a Suisun City man on murder charges following a fatal hit-and-run early Tuesday morning.
On July 7, 2026, at approximately 12:25 a.m., police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of Ace and Vine, located at 505 Lincoln Avenue. Upon arrival, authorities located an injured male victim on the pavement. Witnesses at the scene clarified that the victim had not been shot but had been struck by a motor vehicle. The victim was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following an investigation by the Napa Police Department Investigations Unit, detectives identified 24-year-old Reginald Davis Jr. as the suspect. At approximately 4:00 p.m. that afternoon, detectives and members of the Napa Special Investigations Bureau located Davis and the suspect vehicle at a residence in Suisun City. Davis was detained without incident, and officials executed a search warrant at the location.
During questioning, Davis stated he was involved in an argument with the victim before striking him with his vehicle and fleeing the scene. Davis was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on charges of murder and hit-and-run resulting in death or injury.
