Transient Arrested for Commercial Burglary at Historic Jack House in San Luis Obispo

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA — On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the San Luis Obispo Police Department responded to an alarm activation report at the historic Jack House, located at 536 Marsh Street. The alarm company reported motion activation on the second story of the building.

Upon arrival, officers conducted a perimeter check of the structure and discovered a broken window. Officers entered the building and determined that the window had been smashed with a large rock.

As officers proceeded to the second floor of the house, an adult male fell partially through the ceiling from the attic space. Officers ordered the male to descend from the attic using an access ladder, and he was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect was identified as 35-year-old Blake Aubrey Robertson, a transient in San Luis Obispo.

Robertson was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment of injuries sustained from the broken window glass and from falling through the ceiling. Following his medical clearance, Robertson was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of felony commercial burglary under incident number 260611071.
