Fontana Resident Arrested Following Investigation Into Possession and Distribution of CSAM
FONTANA, CA – Detectives from the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force discovered that 35-year-old George Castaneda was allegedly downloading and distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) over the internet.
On June 11, 2026, detectives served a search warrant at Castaneda’s residence located in the 7300 block of Kamloops Avenue in the City of Fontana. During the execution of the warrant, investigators seized multiple electronic devices and found evidence related to the possession, downloading, and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Castaneda was arrested on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Castaneda allegedly posed as a minor on the Snapchat platform to solicit minors to send sexually explicit images and videos of themselves. Authorities identified that Castaneda utilized the Snapchat usernames “geocast_2025” and “g_castaneda2006.”
Detectives believe there may be additional victims connected to this case. Anyone who may have communicated with Castaneda through these specified Snapchat accounts, or who may have sent images or videos to him, is asked to contact Detective Sandoval at isandoval@fontanaca.gov.
