Desert Hot Springs Probation Compliance Check Results in Felony Arrest
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — The Post-Release Accountability Compliance Team conducted a probation compliance check in Desert Hot Springs on May 25, 2026, leading to the arrest of one individual on multiple felony charges.
The compliance check occurred at approximately 10:00 A.M. at a location in the 66500 block of 12th Street. During the search of the property, compliance officers located and seized a sawed-off shotgun, approximately 60 rounds of ammunition, several prohibited edged weapons, and approximately five grams of methamphetamine.
The subject, whose identity was not disclosed, was taken into custody by officers and booked into jail on several felony offenses related to the discovered items.
Representatives from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department stated that the agency continues to proactively target illegal weapons, narcotics, and criminal activity as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain public safety within the community.
