Suspect in Custody: Sutter County Deputies Apprehend Fleeing Suspect in Live Oak
LIVE OAK, CA — Sutter County Sheriff’s deputies took a suspect into custody following a multi-agency response in Live Oak in late April. The incident began when deputies were dispatched to the area of N Street to investigate reports of criminal activity involving 28-year-old Kenneth Mosely. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Mosely was already the subject of an earlier case this year involving firearm-related charges.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement at the scene, the suspect fled on foot. In response, deputies established a perimeter around the immediate vicinity to contain the subject. The search utilized both a K-9 unit and a drone to locate the individual. After a brief period, Mosely was discovered hiding in a yard nearby and was apprehended without further conflict.
Following the arrest, Mosely was transported to the Sutter County Jail. He was booked on a variety of charges, including criminal threats, inflicting injury, false imprisonment, resisting arrest, and violation of probation.
