FONTANA, CA — Detectives with the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested a 28-year-old resident on April 22, 2026, following an investigation into the online distribution of prohibited material.

The investigation began after task force members determined that Roberto Magdaleno Jr. was involved in the downloading and distribution of child sexual abuse material over the internet. On the morning of April 22, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 6200 block of Kingsmill Court in the City of Fontana. During the service of the warrant, investigators seized several electronic devices.

A forensic examination of the seized equipment resulted in the discovery of evidence related to the downloading and distribution of child pornography. Magdaleno was subsequently arrested on charges of possession of child pornography and was transported to the West Valley Detention Center for booking.

The Fontana Police Department ICAC Task Force is continuing the investigation. Authorities have requested that anyone with additional information pertaining to this case contact the task force via their dedicated email address.
