Suspect Arrested in 2024 El Dorado County Murder Case
PLACERVILLE, CA — “On April 23 2026, Detectives with the El Dorado Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Joshua Lighthall of Sacramento for the October 2024 murder of Tyson Fiddler.
Tyson was last seen on October 5, 2024 at 01:50 a.m. leaving PJ’s Roadhouse, 5641 Motherlode Dr. Placerville, Ca.
His body was found by detectives on Oct. 10, 2024 in a remote area of El Dorado County.
This arrest is the culmination of a lengthy and detailed investigation, which began in October of 2024. Lighthall was booked into the El Dorado County Jail on a no-bail arrest warrant for Murder PC 187.
We greatly appreciate the patience and support of the community and those involved with this investigation as we work to find justice for Tyson.”
