Enforcement Stop near Arbuckle Leads to Large Drug Seizure
ARBUCKLE, CA — “On April 3, 2026, a Northern Division Canine Officer conducted an enforcement stop on a passenger vehicle on northbound I-5, south of Arbuckle. During the stop, the officer observed indicators of criminal activity.
A CHP canine was deployed on an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, approximately 8 pounds of methamphetamine was located within the trunk of the vehicle.
