Great Gas Food Mart Robbery: Suspect Jamon Dupree Arrested
SACRAMENTO – ARDEN-ARCADE, CA –– “On February 4, 2026, Sacramento Sheriff’s Office (SSO) deputies responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at the Great Gas Food Mart located at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Marconi Avenue. A suspect, wearing one glove, pepper-sprayed an employee and stole cash.
Robbery detectives investigated the incident. They identified two additional robberies that occurred in February 2026 at fast-food restaurants on Watt Avenue, in proximity to the Great Gas Food Mart. One occurred at a Popeyes on Feb.2, and the other occurred at a Subway on Feb. 23. The one-gloved suspect jumped the sales counter, pushed employees, and stole cash from the register during these two robberies.
Robbery detectives identified the suspect in the three robberies as 20-year-old Jamon Dupree of Pittsburg, CA, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On March 17, 2026, detectives located Dupree at the Chevron on Watt Avenue across the street from the Great Gas Food Mart and placed him under arrest pursuant to the arrest warrant.”
