Santa Maria Residents Arrested Following Pismo Beach Robbery and Shooting Investigation
PISMO BEACH, CA — The Pismo Beach Police Department has announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with a shooting and robbery that occurred on December 28, 2025. Officers originally responded to the 800 block of Bello Street and Price Street at approximately 12:15 p.m. following reports of a shooting victim near a pedestrian tunnel. Investigators determined that three male subjects confronted a 14-year-old male juvenile regarding a necklace he was wearing. During a subsequent physical altercation, the necklace was forcibly removed, and the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the finger.
Through a collaborative investigation with the Santa Maria Police Department, detectives identified the suspects as Gregorio Morales, 22, Noel Martinez Garcia, 20, and Jaime Manuel Jr., 20, all residents of Santa Maria. Law enforcement officials noted that city surveillance cameras and license plate readers were instrumental in the identification process.
On March 19, 2026, the Pismo Beach Police Department, supported by the San Luis Obispo Regional SWAT Team and the Santa Maria Police Department SWAT Team, executed three residential search warrants and served arrest warrants. Garcia and Manuel Jr. were taken into custody without incident and transported to San Luis Obispo County. Both are being held without bail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and conspiracy. The third suspect, Morales, is currently in custody on unrelated charges. The investigation into the matter remains ongoing.
